How do I register to vote?

You can register in-person to vote at your county Voter Registrar. You can also register to vote by mail and pick up an application from your county Voter Registrar.

Can I vote early?

Yes! Early in-person voting starts on October 13 in Texas. You will be asked for your ID by the poll worker. The last day to vote early in-person is October 30. You can vote early at any polling location in Harris County.

Do I need an ID?

Yes. Check what ID types you can bring when you vote. A poll worker will ask to see your ID. Then the poll worker will look up your name. If you don’t have any changes to your registration information, you will sign your name and a poll worker will give you a ballot.
